The Breath I Couldn’t Catch

Growing up in the bustling city of Trivandrum, where the air buzzed with the relentless rhythm of life, I constantly found myself at odds with my surroundings. My childhood was marked by constant allergies. School became a daily struggle as relentless coughing interrupted my classes, and sleepless nights left me exhausted. My watery eyes and sore throat were constant companions, with inhalers and doctor visits defining much of my routine. I often missed birthday celebrations and festivals, sidelined by bouts of sickness triggered by my allergies. I am inspired to became the catalyst for change and support Aditi’s efforts—not just for myself but for the clear air allowing future generations to breathe a little easier.
