In my neighborhood I see piles of garbage and waste on the streets every day. This waste is having a direct impact on our air quality and our health. The plastic bags, food wrappers, and other trash are left on the streets get blown around by the wind affecting air quality. When people burn the waste to get rid of it release harmful chemicals into the air. Breathing in this smoke can cause serious health problems, especially for children, the elderly, and those with breathing issues.
