I was born and raised in Manchester, but during a trip to London, I noticed that the air felt a lot harder to breathe in. When I checked the air quality index of London, I realized that it was relatively worse which worried me since my little brother had pneumonia when he was younger and still has pretty sensitive respiratory health. A lot of this air pollution may be rooted in the several industries that exist in the area, but I can't help but wonder what this may mean for the health of the citizens that have lived here their whole life.
